Refik Anadol is a Turkish-American new media artist celebrated for his innovative use of artificial intelligence in art. Based in Los Angeles, Anadol is renowned for creating immersive installations that transform data into dynamic visual experiences. His groundbreaking work Unsupervised at MoMA draws on the museum’s collection to reinterpret over 200 years of art history using AI, generating continuously evolving visuals that engaged giant crowds when it went on view in 2022.
